Amplifying HOPE & Celebrating FREEDOM!

This summer, our incredible team of musicians, production crew, camera operators, and volunteers has been on the road nearly every weekend for two months, bringing recovery festivals to communities across the state. Most mornings, we hit the road by 6 or 7 a.m. and don’t return home until after midnight. It’s exhausting work – but it’s also one of the highlights of our year. Why? Because at every event, we get to witness something extraordinary: the power of new life, hope, and FREEDOM.

(That’s the group photo from our Noblesville, Indiana event above.)

There’s nothing quite like seeing people who’ve broken free from addiction celebrating life with so much joy and gratitude. It’s a reminder of why we do what we do. Many people who speak at these events (and all of our guest artists) are able to add their own stories and perspective of how Jesus has been part of their recovery journey.

We’re on the home stretch of the tour; we have one remaining event that we had to postpone due to weather from an earlier date. So our final event of the tour is August 16th in Jasper, Indiana.

But before that, Two Eight’s executive leadership team (myself, Founder Eric Maitlen and Director of Operations Amber O’Brien) head to Poland to be part of the Light Up Europe conference. We’ve been invited to join the international gathering in Krakow, which is focused on disciple making, church planting, relationship building, and other ministry pioneering. We’ll be there from July 27th to August 4th.

The conference’s leadership team has covered our expenses to be there, so we’re very excited that they have chosen to invest in the relationship with us. With over 500 people in attendance, we’re excited about developing our network of international connections for future ministry.

Your sacrifices of prayer and finances are what keep us on the road. They are, to borrow Paul’s words from Philippians 4:18, “A fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.”

Thank you for sending us!
